Short Bio – Hilary Little

An interactive multimedia designer by training, Hilary Little has been in the business of human centred design for over 15 years. When she isn’t working as a senior usability architect at the Canada Border Services Agency, she runs a successful UX consultancy, Hilary Little Ideation & Design. Armed with a good sense of humour and a load of empathy, she loves what she does for a living.

Hilary’s expertise is in User Experience Design and she speaks and consults on Business Value and ROI, Customer Experience, Design, Interaction Design, Interface and Navigation Design, Product design, Rich Internet applications, The Business of UX and Working With Stakeholders. She’s spoken to groups like CapCHI and Girl Geeks Dinners Ottawa and has published in UX Magazine and Mashable.

Hilary is an energetic person who holds dual Irish-Canadian citizenship. When she’s not designing elegant interfaces or strategizing to mature a usability practice, she enjoys long distance running, eating obscenely spicy food and travelling with her husband and kids.
